Google launches on iOS via Google Search app

Google was previously only available on Android devices.Now it's finally available for iOS users.As an alternative to Apple's own personal assistant, Siri, Google Now offers detailed updates and information custom-tailored to you. The service is included as part of an update to the Google Search App.

Back-and-forth notwithstanding, iOS users can check out Now on iPhone and iPad after updating the Google Search app. Google Now uses "cards," synced with a Google account to provide updated info including flight schedules, dinner suggestions, and voice-activated search (obviously).

Intro to the term Hacker and how to become one

Who is a hacker?

A hacker is someone who like to mess with electronic or computer stuff and come up with new things to alter the functionality of something. But the society always misunderstand and refer the term to the people who broke into other systems to get private information but there are some hackers who work to strengthen the security of someone by patching the system.

So, there are two types of hackers

• Black hat hackers.(Demons) 

these are the bad guys . they might try to get your personal data and defame you or get money using your identity using illegal methods.

• White hat hackers.(Angels)

these are the good guys. they don't use their skills for illegal purposes.they usually become computer security experts and help protect people from the black hats.

Also there is another categorizing method considering the skills of the hackers......

• Script kiddies –
  these hackers are the most dangerous because they might not know what they are doing. They simply use the software created by others to do their tasks.
• Intermediate –
  these hackers usually have the ability to know what ther are doing. they have enough programming ability to understand what a program does by looking at the source code but they don't have enough knowledge to create such software or patch vulnerable systems.
• Elite hacker –
  these are the most respected and skillful hackers.they can create hacking software and patch vulnerable systems.they can break into systems and hide that they did it or make it look like someone else did it. this is where you should like to be!!

Where you should start?

If you want to be a skillful computer hacker you'll have to learn many areas of the computer field. Some of them are programming,the internet,networking and much more..

So you'll have to learn for years to become a good hacker you must have patience and courage.

For the start I'll recomend programming and the internet there are many books to explain these areas ..... try to learn a simple programming language first something like python will do but you'll need to learn more and more programming languages on the way to become to become a good hacker.

What is CISPA? Why should you worry?

A controversial cyber-security bill known as CISPA is once again in the news. The House approved the bill last week, and it now moves to the Senate, but opponents of the measure are not going down without a fight. Today, in fact, hacker collective Anonymous is calling on websites to go dark in protest of CISPA as they did last year against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA).

What is CISPA?
 CISPA stands for Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA).

What does it do?
 CISPA would allow for voluntary information sharing between private companies and the government in the event of a cyber attack. If the government detects a cyber attack that might take down Facebook or Google, for example, they could notify those companies. At the same time, Facebook or Google could inform the feds if they notice unusual activity on their networks that might suggest a cyber attack.

Sounds OK. What's the problem?
 Backers argue that CISPA is necessary to protect the U.S. against cyber attacks from countries like China and Iran. But opponents said that it would allow companies to easily hand over users' private information to the government thanks to a liability clause. This, according to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, "essentially means CISPA would override the relevant provisions in all other laws—including privacy laws."

Earth Day is observed every year on April 22 to create awareness and support among the mass to protect the environment. The event is held worldwide to raise the issue on the occasion. Like every year, the world will be celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Earth Day on Monday, April 22, 2013. 

In 1969, at the UNESCO Conference in San Fransisco, the concept to observe Earth Day on March 21 was first proposed by John McConnell. But a month later, Gaylord Nelso, U.S. Senator from Wisconsin, proposed April 22 as the date. Nelson was also a conservationist and environmental activist. Observance of Earth Day was proposed by Nelson as a national teach-in on the environmental issues right after the frightful oil spill off the coast in 1969. And in 1970, the idea to observe Earth Day in the United States was propelled by Denis Hayes who popularized it to the global level. Today, Earth Day is observed in more than 192 countries. 

Every year, across the world millions of people take part to observe Earth Day. Moreover, non-profit organisations, governments, schools and communities hold various interactive programmes and activities to create awareness about the protection of the environment and mark the anniversary of the event. The main objective is to raise the concerns for the planet and find a sustainable solution for a good environment. The event also aims to grab attention of the governments and people to help the animals, birds, insects and people that are affected by climate change.
